Meal in a Bag Food Drive -FBC Kids

We’re inviting our FBC White Hall Kids and Families to help feed families in need this season through our Meal in a Bag Food Drive!

Each family will receive recipe cards with simple, shelf-stable meal ideas. Your challenge is to shop for and pack a bagwith all the ingredients listed on one (or more!) of the recipes. Every completed meal bag will go directly to a local family in need — along with a reminder that they are loved and cared for.

Here’s how it works:

• Choose a Recipe Card from the ones sent home or pick up extras from church. We have also put the link below for the recipes so you can shop to fill your bag.

• Shop for the Ingredients listed on the card as a family.

• Pack Your Meal Bag — place all ingredients together in a grocery bag and attach the recipe card to the front.

• Add a Note of Encouragement! Kids can write or draw a kind message or prayer for the family receiving the meal. Pray over your bag as a family for the family who will be recieving the bag.

• Return Bags to Church by Tuesday, December 3rd. Kids will earn 50 bonus points for each completed meal bag and 50 bonus points for each encouraging card made for families in need.

If your family would like to participate by purchasing items or writing cards (or both!), you are welcome to choose either option.

If your family is in need of one of these bags, or if shopping for supplies isn’t possible right now, please let me know — we’d love to make sure your family is cared for too.
